What if I get a new phone?
  • If you are unable to authenticate, contact the Help Desk at 504-568-HELP (4357) to assist you with re-enrollment in MFA.
  • If you have a backup method of authentication, access https://aka.ms/mfasetup
  1. You will need to select: “sign in another way” when prompted for a second factor in order to choose the option to call your backup phone number to authenticate.
  2. Select "Update your phone numbers used for account security"
  3. Delete your current phone entry from the portal
  4. Select "Set up Authenticator App" to enroll your new phone for mobile app authentication method
